Our thoughts and prayers are with Andy's family, colleagues, and all those who knew and respected Andy. It was my great pleasure to have worked with Andy while he was an Extension Agent and Specialist. He was the consummate Extension professional who embraced the Extension philosophy of connecting knowledge for the benefit of humankind. I'll forever cherish his early work on alternative agricultural products--particularly Shitake mushrooms. His good work and spirit will continue through all he educated and inspired.
