I was deeply saddened to hear of Andy's passing. He was one of the first Extension people who made friends with me as I was working in the sustainable agriculture movement in the 90s. Now as I am working on the Southern SAWG conference for 2014, I am thinking of him again and missing his thoughtful advice for program topics and presenters.
